The Air Classic collection is the entry-level model in the Savne Štrus world, yet it sets standards in style, technology, and practicality. Seven bench types—from the compact single-tier Model I to the spacious corner sauna Model VII—accommodate groups ranging from 1 to 8 Persons. Even the smallest model, measuring just 140 × 130 cm, fits into tight spaces and operates on a single-phase 230 V connection. The Savne Štrus Air Classic Indoor Sauna in Classic Aspen Wood can also be configured as a Finnish, BIO, infrared, or hybrid sauna—a single system for every sauna philosophy.

Solid slats made of Nordic aspen (Populus tremula) in the classic Softline STP profile (12 × 65 mm) form the walls, ceiling, and benches of the Savne Štrus Air Classic Indoor Sauna in Classic Aspen Wood. The softly rounded edges feel pleasant even at high temperatures and remain cool to the touch. The fully glazed front made of 8 mm thick tempered safety glass (ESG) opens up the space visually; available in clear, Parsol Gray, or Parsol Brown tints. The power connection ranges from 230 V / single-phase / 16 A to 400 V / three-phase / 25 A; the recommended cable cross-section is 5 × 2.5 mm² (up to 9 kW) or 5 × 4 mm² (10.5 kW). Three control units—BASE, LUMEN, and TOUCH—enable precise control of Finnish, BIO, and infrared modes. Installation must be performed exclusively by a licensed electrical contractor.

Which rooms are suitable for an Indoor Sauna?

Dry indoor spaces such as cellars, bathrooms, living rooms or attics are suitable. The decisive factors are adequate ventilation, compliance with wall clearances and a suitable power connection. A window is not required.

Can I install an Indoor Sauna in a rented apartment?

Yes, many Indoor Saunas can be dismantled and are suitable for rental apartments. The prerequisites are suitable power connections, adequate spacing and ventilation. The consent of the landlord is recommended.

What power connection and heater output do I need?

Power connection

Sauna heaters over 3 kW require a 400 V power supply
Connection exclusively by an authorized specialist company

Rule of thumb oven performance

approx. 1 kW per 1 m³ sauna volume
additional approx. +1 kW per m² glass surface
for solid wood saunas approx. +10-15 %

Does an Indoor Sauna cause damp or mold?

With correct ventilation, sufficient wall spacing and regular airing after the sauna, no harmful moisture is produced. With proper planning, Indoor Saunas are not considered critical for living spaces.

How loud is an Indoor Sauna in operation?

Indoor Saunas work almost silently. The heater itself is silent, only the control unit or fan in bio/combi heaters are slightly audible. The volume is suitable for living rooms.

How long does it take to heat up and what are the operating costs?

Heating time: approx. 30-45 minutes, for complete warming approx. 45-60 minutes
Power consumption: approx. 6-9 kWh per sauna session

The actual costs depend on the heater performance, insulation and service life.

Which type of sauna is right for me?

Finnish sauna: approx. 80-100 °C, dry heat
Bio-Sauna: approx. 50-60 °C, higher humidity
Combination sauna: flexible between dry & wet
Infrared: mild deep heat

Combination saunas are considered to be particularly versatile and beginner-friendly.

What are common causes of a sauna not heating up properly or smelling?

Typical causes are

Oven output too low
Dirty or saturated sauna stones
Insufficient ventilation
Technical defects (e.g. heating elements)

Many problems can be solved without replacing the heater.

Changes or cancelations are possible as long as the order is not yet in production, commissioning or shipping. Please contact us immediately after placing your order.

Are there any restrictions on the right of withdrawal?

Yes, custom-made products, special designs and individually configured goods are excluded from the statutory right of withdrawal. We will clarify transparently whether a product falls under this before or at the latest when the order is placed.

How long does the delivery take and will I be informed?

The delivery time is indicated directly with the respective product. These are valid as long as the item is in stock. Deviating, individually agreed delivery times have priority. We will actively inform you in the event of delays. You will receive ongoing information on the shipping status.

How does delivery by forwarding agent work?

Delivery is standard free curbside. This means that the goods are delivered to the nearest point that can be reached by truck.

Important:

Access for trucks must be possible
Sufficient clearance width and height required
The customer is responsible for transportation from the curb
If required, additional services (e.g. delivery to the installation site) can be arranged in advance

Can I set a preferred delivery date?

Delivery date requests will be considered if possible. The shipping company will usually contact you one to two days before delivery to arrange an appointment. Fixed dates or times cannot be guaranteed. Express deliveries with exact delivery dates are possible on request.

What applies in the event of damage, missing parts or subsequent defects?

Please check the goods immediately upon delivery. Transport damage or missing parts must be documented and reported immediately with photos/videos.

The statutory warranty of 2 years applies to defects. We examine every case and take care of repair, replacement or an appropriate solution.
