Options include a concrete slab, point or strip foundations (typically about 80 cm deep in Austria and Germany to ensure frost resistance), compacted gravel, or a paved surface. The foundation should be about 10 cm above the surrounding ground—this protects against splashing water.
Why this is important	An uneven or insufficiently strong foundation can cause the frame to warp, resulting in doors and windows that stick or gaps forming. Such damage is not covered by the warranty.
Space requirements (all sides)	Keep a clear space around the plants so the walls can dry. Water must be able to drain away from the sauna.
Wood Preservation	After assembly, treat the exterior surfaces with wood preservative and inspect them at least twice a year. Do not paint or varnish the interior—the wood must be able to breathe.
Clarify before purchasing	Whether a Outdoor Sauna in Austria requires a permit depends on the federal state, the size, and the zoning plan—the limits range from 10 m² in Lower Austria to 40 m² in Styria. Provisions regarding distances from property lines are also determined by each federal state. Please check with your local municipality before purchasing. Delivery date requests will be considered if possible. The shipping company will usually contact you one to two days before delivery to arrange an appointment. Fixed dates or times cannot be guaranteed. Express deliveries with exact delivery dates are possible on request.

What applies in the event of damage, missing parts or subsequent defects?

Please check the goods immediately upon delivery. Transport damage or missing parts must be documented and reported immediately with photos/videos.

The statutory warranty of 2 years applies to defects. We examine every case and take care of repair, replacement or an appropriate solution.
