The Viva series from Leil® Saunas stands for intelligent use of space, Nordic craftsmanship, and uncompromising material quality. The Leil® Viva 210 3Persons Outdoor Sauna with reclining feature is positioned as the perfect balance of the series: a compact floor plan, extra shoulder room, and the rare option to fully recline during a sauna session. The Viva 210 is developed and manufactured on a six-hectare production campus in Estonia—with the conviction that a good sauna experience can be both gentle and profound. In 2024, this design concept was honored with the Red Dot Award – Best of the Best.

Thermowood and glass – the design language of the Leil® Viva 210 Outdoor Sauna

The floor, walls, ceiling, benches, and backrests of the Leil® Viva 210 are made entirely of Thermowood—a unique feature not found in any other model in the Viva series. The 40 mm thick wall and floor elements made of Lunawood ThermoWood® (thermally modified pine) provide insulation without the need for an additional insulation layer, do not warp, and remain resin-free. The benches and backrests made of Thermo-Alder remain pleasantly smooth and skin-friendly even at high temperatures. A bronze-tinted safety glass door with a premium handle and black hinges frames the vertical wooden slat facade, creating a harmonious architectural ensemble. The EPDM roof covering protects the structure from the elements year-round.

Sophisticated technology in the Leil® Viva 210 Outdoor Sauna for 3 Persons

Three strategically placed ventilation openings in the Leil® Viva 210 Outdoor Sauna which accommodates three Persons and includes a reclining area, ensure even heat distribution all the way to the floor—the principle of gentle Estonian Leil® steam. Additional Thermowood slats above the glazing and the door act as a steam buffer, keeping the temperature and humidity stable even when the door is opened. The sauna is compatible with electric and wood-fired stoves, which can be selected separately according to preference. Optional LED light strips are available under the bench or behind the backrest, as well as a decorative hexagon deco panel for the back wall.

Foundation	Level, stable, and frost-resistant. Options include a concrete slab, point or strip foundations (typically about 80 cm deep in Austria and Germany to ensure frost resistance), compacted gravel, or a paved surface. The foundation should be about 10 cm above the surrounding ground—this protects against splashing water.
Why this is important	An uneven or insufficiently strong foundation can cause the frame to warp, resulting in doors and windows that stick or gaps forming. Such damage is not covered under warranty.
Space requirements (all sides)	Keep a clear space around the plants so that the walls can dry. The water must be able to drain away from the sauna.
Wood Preservation	After assembly, treat the exterior surfaces with wood preservative and inspect them at least twice a year. Do not paint or varnish the interior—the wood must be able to breathe.
Power Connection	Depending on Sauna Heater you choose. Rule of thumb: up to 3.6 kW via a standard 230-V outlet; 4.0 kW and above requires 400-V high-voltage power. An underground cable is typically installed in the garden (about 60 cm deep in lawns, 80 cm below walkways). Installation must be performed exclusively by a licensed electrician.
Clarify before purchasing	Whether a Outdoor Sauna in Austria requires a permit depends on the federal state, the size, and the zoning plan—the limits range from 10 m² in Lower Austria to 40 m² in Styria. Boundary distances are also determined by each federal state. Please check with your local municipality before purchasing. If you have a wood-burning stove, you’ll also need to have it inspected by a chimney sweep.

What should I look out for before ordering?

Changes or cancelations are possible as long as the order is not yet in production, commissioning or shipping. Please contact us immediately after placing your order.

Are there any restrictions on the right of withdrawal?

Yes, custom-made products, special designs and individually configured goods are excluded from the statutory right of withdrawal. We will clarify transparently whether a product falls under this before or at the latest when the order is placed.

How long does the delivery take and will I be informed?

The delivery time is indicated directly with the respective product. These are valid as long as the item is in stock. Deviating, individually agreed delivery times have priority. We will actively inform you in the event of delays. You will receive ongoing information on the shipping status.

Can I set a preferred delivery date?

Delivery date requests will be considered if possible. The shipping company will usually contact you one to two days before delivery to arrange an appointment. Fixed dates or times cannot be guaranteed. Express deliveries with exact delivery dates are possible on request.

What applies in the event of damage, missing parts or subsequent defects?

Please check the goods immediately upon delivery. Transport damage or missing parts must be documented and reported immediately with photos/videos.

The statutory warranty of 2 years applies to defects. We examine every case and take care of repair, replacement or an appropriate solution.
