The Patio L is the flagship of the Patio series and, with a floor area of 9.6 m², offers the most spacious layout in the entire range. Two equally sized rooms—the sauna room and the relaxation room—allow for a complete sauna experience without leaving the building. The L-shaped bench arrangement in the sauna room accommodates up to five Persons and allows for both upright sitting and comfortable reclining. Thermowood and safety glass – material quality of the Leil® Saunas Patio L Outdoor Sauna

The 40 mm thick Thermowood walls form the foundation of this Outdoor Sauna. During the thermal treatment process, resins and moisture are removed from the wood—the result is a dimensionally stable, rot-resistant material with excellent insulating properties. The ceiling of the Leil® Saunas Patio L Outdoor Sauna (2 rooms, 5 Persons, 9.6 m²) is additionally equipped with 30 mm PIR rigid foam insulation and thermally treated pine STS panels, ensuring a particularly stable sauna temperature. The flat roof with EPDM covering and metal edge trim provides reliable protection against the elements, while the exterior door made of 8 mm bronze-tinted safety glass and the double-glazed windows ensure a light-filled, elegant atmosphere. Black-treated exterior trim adds architectural accents and gives the overall design a modern, clean aesthetic.

The Leil® Saunas Patio L Outdoor Sauna (2 rooms, 5 Persons, 9.6 m²) can be flexibly adapted to individual needs. You can choose your Sauna Heater—whether electric or wood-fired, both options are available as configurable choices. Optional LED sets create an atmospheric ambiance: lighting behind the backrest, under the bench, or in the entrance area can be added individually or in combination. Three black spotlights under the roof effectively highlight the sauna from the outside as well. The glazing is available in bronze or black, allowing the lighting character and design language to be individually tailored.

Foundation	Level, stable, and frost-resistant. Options include a concrete slab, point or strip foundations (typically about 80 cm deep in Austria and Germany to ensure frost resistance), compacted gravel, or a paved surface. The foundation should be about 10 cm above the surrounding ground—this protects against splashing water.
Why this is important	An uneven or insufficiently strong foundation can cause the frame to warp, resulting in doors and windows that stick or gaps forming. Such damage is not covered under warranty.
Space requirements (all sides)	Keep a clear space around the plants so the walls can dry. Water must be able to drain away from the sauna.
Wood Preservation	After assembly, treat the exterior surfaces with wood preservative and inspect them at least twice a year. Do not paint or varnish the interior—the wood must be able to breathe.
Power Connection	Depending on Sauna Heater you choose. Rule of thumb: up to 3.6 kW via a standard 230-V outlet; 4.0 kW and above requires 400-V high-voltage power. In the garden, an underground cable is typically installed (about 60 cm deep in lawns, 80 cm deep under walkways). Installation must be performed exclusively by a licensed electrical contractor.
Clarify before purchasing	Whether a Outdoor Sauna in Austria requires a permit depends on the federal state, the size, and the zoning plan—the limits range from 10 m² in Lower Austria to 40 m² in Styria. Provisions regarding distances from property lines are also determined by each federal state. Please check with your local municipality before purchasing. If the sauna includes a wood-burning stove, it must also be inspected by a chimney sweep.

Yes, custom-made products, special designs and individually configured goods are excluded from the statutory right of withdrawal. We will clarify transparently whether a product falls under this before or at the latest when the order is placed.

How long does the delivery take and will I be informed?

The delivery time is indicated directly with the respective product. These are valid as long as the item is in stock. Deviating, individually agreed delivery times have priority. We will actively inform you in the event of delays. You will receive ongoing information on the shipping status.

Can I set a preferred delivery date?

Delivery date requests will be considered if possible. The shipping company will usually contact you one to two days before delivery to arrange an appointment. Fixed dates or times cannot be guaranteed. Express deliveries with exact delivery dates are possible on request.

What applies in the event of damage, missing parts or subsequent defects?

Please check the goods immediately upon delivery. Transport damage or missing parts must be documented and reported immediately with photos/videos.

The statutory warranty of 2 years applies to defects. We examine every case and take care of repair, replacement or an appropriate solution.
