The Leil® Patio S Plus Outdoor Sauna with canopy & L-L bench is far more than a classic Outdoor Sauna. As part of the Patio series, it combines a full-fledged sauna room for up to 4 Persons with a covered outdoor area that can be flexibly used as a lounge or space for a hot tub. The L-shaped bench design inside maximizes seating space in a compact area and creates an inviting, social atmosphere. With the option to choose between an electric or wood-burning stove, the model can be customized to suit different usage concepts and site conditions.

Thermowood and glass front – the design language of the Leil® Patio S Plus Outdoor Sauna

The walls of the Leil® Patio S Plus Outdoor Sauna with canopy and L-L bench are made of 40 mm thick Thermowood—heat-treated wood that is resin-free, dimensionally stable, and rot-resistant. The ceiling, made of thermally treated pine STS panels, is supplemented by a 30 mm PIR insulation layer, which ensures a particularly stable sauna temperature. The spacious glass front made of 8 mm bronze safety glass opens up the view to the outside and allows natural light to flood into the interior, while the black-treated exterior trim gives the building a striking, contemporary silhouette. Inside, two-tiered alder wood benches with backrests and bench cladding provide a comfortable, high-quality setting for the sauna experience.

Sophisticated technology in the Leil® Patio S Plus Outdoor Sauna with canopy

The construction of the Leil® Patio S Plus Outdoor Sauna with canopy and L-L bench follows a well-thought-out layered design: 40 mm Thermowood walls, a PIR-insulated ceiling, and a 24 mm roof structure with EPDM waterproofing and metal edge covers form a weather-resistant, durable unit. The floor, made of 24 mm spruce wood planks, features an integrated metal floor drain for controlled wastewater drainage. The glass front is available in either bronze or black, optionally as 14 mm double glazing with black safety glass. Additionally, LED lighting sets for the interior and backrest, as well as an external spot light set for the underside of the roof, are available.

Foundation	Level, stable, and frost-resistant. Options include a concrete slab, point or strip footings (typically about 80 cm deep in Austria and Germany to ensure frost resistance), compacted gravel, or a paved surface. The foundation should be about 10 cm above the surrounding ground—this protects against splashing water.
Why this is important	An uneven or insufficiently strong foundation can cause the frame to warp, resulting in doors and windows that stick or gaps forming. Such damage is not covered under warranty.
Space requirements (all sides)	Keep a clear space around the plants so the walls can dry. Water must be able to drain away from the sauna.
Wood Preservation	After assembly, treat the exterior surfaces with wood preservative and inspect them at least twice a year. Do not paint or varnish the interior—the wood must be able to breathe.
Power Connection	Depending on Sauna Heater you choose. Rule of thumb: up to 3.6 kW via a standard 230-V outlet; 4.0 kW and above requires 400-V high-voltage power. An underground cable is typically installed in the yard (about 60 cm deep in lawns, 80 cm deep under walkways). Installation must be performed exclusively by a licensed electrician.
Clarify before purchasing	Whether a Outdoor Sauna in Austria requires a permit depends on the federal state, the size, and the zoning plan—limits range from 10 m² in Lower Austria to 40 m² in Styria. Boundary distances are also determined by each federal state. Please check with your local municipality before purchasing. If you have a wood-burning stove, you’ll also need to have it inspected by a chimney sweep.

Yes, custom-made products, special designs and individually configured goods are excluded from the statutory right of withdrawal. We will clarify transparently whether a product falls under this before or at the latest when the order is placed.

How long does the delivery take and will I be informed?

The delivery time is indicated directly with the respective product. These are valid as long as the item is in stock. Deviating, individually agreed delivery times have priority. We will actively inform you in the event of delays. You will receive ongoing information on the shipping status.

Can I set a preferred delivery date?

Delivery date requests will be considered if possible. The shipping company will usually contact you one to two days before delivery to arrange an appointment. Fixed dates or times cannot be guaranteed. Express deliveries with exact delivery dates are possible on request.

What applies in the event of damage, missing parts or subsequent defects?

Please check the goods immediately upon delivery. Transport damage or missing parts must be documented and reported immediately with photos/videos.

The statutory warranty of 2 years applies to defects. We examine every case and take care of repair, replacement or an appropriate solution.
