The 40 mm thick Thermowood walls form the foundation of the Leil® Patio S Outdoor Sauna for 4 Persons with L-L bench (5.7 m²). Thermal treatment removes resins and moisture from the wood, making it dimensionally stable, rot-resistant, and highly insulating. Inside, two-tiered benches made of light alder wood with bench cladding and backrests add a warm touch, while the ceiling is clad with thermally treated pine STS panels. On the outside, black-treated trim gives the sauna a striking, contemporary silhouette, stylishly complemented by front glazing in bronze or black.

Sophisticated technology for consistent heat enjoyment in the Leil® Patio S Outdoor Sauna

The flat roof, constructed from 24 mm roof boards with EPDM roofing and metal edge covers, reliably protects the Leil® Patio S 4Persons Outdoor Sauna L-Bench (5.7 m²) from the elements. Beneath it, the 30 mm PIR rigid foam insulation in the ceiling provides insulation performance that significantly exceeds that of comparable models without an additional insulation layer. The floor, made of 24 mm spruce boards, is equipped with a metal floor drain for wastewater drainage in the sauna room. The exterior door consists of 8 mm bronze-tinted safety glass, and the window features double bronze safety glass in a wooden frame—optionally available as a Black Glass upgrade with 14 mm double glazing.

Options include a concrete slab, point or strip foundations (typically about 80 cm deep in Austria and Germany to ensure frost resistance), compacted gravel, or a paved surface. The foundation should be about 10 cm above the surrounding ground—this protects against splashing water.
Why this is important	An uneven or insufficiently strong foundation can cause the frame to warp, resulting in doors and windows that stick or gaps forming. Such damage is not covered by the warranty.
Space requirements (all sides)	Keep a clear space around the plants so the walls can dry. Water must be able to drain away from the sauna.
Wood Preservation	After assembly, treat the exterior surfaces with wood preservative and inspect them at least twice a year. Do not paint or varnish the interior—the wood must be able to breathe.
Power Connection	Depending on Sauna Heater you choose. Rule of thumb: up to 3.6 kW via a standard 230-V outlet; 4.0 kW and above requires 400-V high-voltage power. In the garden, an underground cable is typically installed (about 60 cm deep in lawns, 80 cm deep under walkways). Installation must be performed exclusively by a licensed electrician.
Clarify before purchasing	Whether a Outdoor Sauna in Austria requires a permit depends on the federal state, the size, and the zoning plan—limits range from 10 m² in Lower Austria to 40 m² in Styria. Provisions regarding distances from property lines are also determined by each federal state. Please check with your local municipality before purchasing. If you have a wood-burning stove, you’ll also need to have it inspected by a chimney sweep.

How long does the delivery take and will I be informed?

The delivery time is indicated directly with the respective product. These are valid as long as the item is in stock. Deviating, individually agreed delivery times have priority. We will actively inform you in the event of delays. You will receive ongoing information on the shipping status.

Delivery date requests will be considered if possible. The shipping company will usually contact you one to two days before delivery to arrange an appointment. Fixed dates or times cannot be guaranteed. Express deliveries with exact delivery dates are possible on request.

What applies in the event of damage, missing parts or subsequent defects?

Please check the goods immediately upon delivery. Transport damage or missing parts must be documented and reported immediately with photos/videos.

The statutory warranty of 2 years applies to defects. We examine every case and take care of repair, replacement or an appropriate solution.
