The sauna room accommodates up to five Persons on two-tiered alder wood benches, the vestibule serves as a transition zone for cooling off and relaxing, and the covered outdoor area provides a weather-protected open space. Thermowood and PIR insulation – the material quality of the Leil® Patio L Plus Outdoor Sauna

The 40 mm thick Thermowood walls of the Leil® Patio L Plus Outdoor Sauna with canopy and vestibule form the foundation of a particularly durable construction: The heat-treated wood is resin-free, dimensionally stable, and rot-resistant. In the ceiling, 30 mm of PIR insulation made of polyisocyanurate rigid foam provides thermal insulation that ensures stable sauna temperatures despite the spacious dimensions. The flat roof with EPDM roofing and metal edge covers provides reliable protection against the elements, while the black-treated exterior trim gives the overall design a modern, architectural contour. The front wall is available in either bronze or black glass—the black glass option features 14 mm double glazing.

Technology and Customization – The Leil® Patio L Plus Outdoor Sauna with Canopy & Vestibule Is Truly Customizable

The Leil® Patio L Plus Outdoor Sauna with canopy and vestibule can be configured with either an electric or wood-fired Sauna Heater, allowing you to tailor it to your preferred sauna experience. Optional LED lighting can be integrated into the sauna room behind the backrest and under the bench, as well as in the vestibule. For the covered outdoor area, seven external spotlights in black are available to cast atmospheric light under the roof. An optional base frame with decking boards expands the Outdoor Sauna into a complete patio solution. Delivery is available as a kit or, upon request, fully pre-assembled.

Foundation	Level, stable, and frost-resistant. Possible options include a concrete slab, point or strip foundations (typically about 80 cm deep in Austria and Germany to ensure frost resistance), compacted gravel, or a paved surface. The foundation should be about 10 cm above the surrounding ground—this protects against splashing water.
Why this is important	An uneven or insufficiently strong foundation can cause the frame to warp, resulting in doors and windows that stick or gaps forming. Such damage is not covered by the warranty.
Space requirements (all sides)	Keep a clear space around the sauna so the walls can dry. Water must be able to drain away from the sauna.
Wood Preservation	After assembly, treat the exterior surfaces with wood preservative and inspect them at least twice a year. Do not paint or varnish the interior—the wood must be able to breathe.
Power connection	Depending on Sauna Heater you choose. Rule of thumb: up to 3.6 kW via a standard 230-V outlet; 4.0 kW and above requires 400-V high-voltage power. An underground cable is typically installed in the garden (about 60 cm deep in lawns, 80 cm deep under paths). Installation must be performed exclusively by a licensed electrician.
Clarify before purchasing	Whether a Outdoor Sauna in Austria requires a permit depends on the federal state, the size, and the zoning plan—the limits range from 10 m² in Lower Austria to 40 m² in Styria. Boundary distances are also determined by each federal state. Please check with your local municipality before purchasing. If you have a wood-burning stove, you’ll also need to have it inspected by a chimney sweep.

Yes, custom-made products, special designs and individually configured goods are excluded from the statutory right of withdrawal. We will clarify transparently whether a product falls under this before or at the latest when the order is placed.

How long does the delivery take and will I be informed?

The delivery time is indicated directly with the respective product. These are valid as long as the item is in stock. Deviating, individually agreed delivery times have priority. We will actively inform you in the event of delays. You will receive ongoing information on the shipping status.

Can I set a preferred delivery date?

Delivery date requests will be considered if possible. The shipping company will usually contact you one to two days before delivery to arrange an appointment. Fixed dates or times cannot be guaranteed. Express deliveries with exact delivery dates are possible on request.

What applies in the event of damage, missing parts or subsequent defects?

Please check the goods immediately upon delivery. Transport damage or missing parts must be documented and reported immediately with photos/videos.

The statutory warranty of 2 years applies to defects. We examine every case and take care of repair, replacement or an appropriate solution.
